COUNTERFEIT COSMETICS ONLINE.. BEWARE!

Because I live in an area with little option for buying products for my kit, I often order on-line. In doing this, I have come across websites selling counterfeit cosmetics, specifically M A C. When doing research on the subject, I came across a beauty blog that can help identify M A C fakes. The Accidental Beauty Blog has a detailed list of common counterfeit items that are on sold eBay and other sites, a list of websites known to sell counterfeits and photographs of the slight differences in packaging that can help identify the fakes.
I believe that it goes with out saying that purchasing name brand items on eBay is a gamble, but with cosmetics it is a bigger gamble. M A C spends time and money researching the ingredients that they use in their products, these counterfeiters do not. You do not know what you are putting on your face, and that is not safe. I strongly advise you check out The Accidental Beauty Blog before (if at all) purchasing M A C products on any site other than M A C's official website.
